I adore Tara McPherson's forms and clean, clean lines. So many of her images - like this one and this one and this one - need to be tattooed on my body.
Jon Krause's designs are simplistic but not simple, with clean lines and (often) starkly delineated shadows. The colors seem somewhat muted - even when a bold red or pink - and are blended beautifully.
His work has appeared in Time Magazine (several times), the Washington Post, and more.
Also, the website (designed by red canoe) is great.
